slopes and where to rent sleds, inner tubes, etc. Cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, and snowmobiling are all enjoyed nearby. If you're looking for an activity to get your children or grandchildren away from the video games and outside, then horseback riding is the way to go. All ages will enjoy seeing the area with a different mode of transportation. In the winter, try a horse-drawn sleigh ride. Check in the with Activities Coordinator at the Club House. Many special events take place during the Pinetop year, such as the annual Pow Wow, Run to the Pines Classic Car Show, Art Festivals, and the list goes on. It consists of 200,000 acres of wilderness and over 50 lakes. The U.S. Forest Service maintains a unique 180 mile interconnected multi-use trail system. These trails are available to hikers, equestrians, mountain bikers and cross country skiers.
